Happy Italy
Okay, this is a large 'fast casual' restaurant. Nothing local about it, but in my opinion still worth mentioning. Happy Italy has great salads! Low cost but still delicious!
Don't order the bread, paninis or pizzas. If you want to eat ' fast casual' pasta go to 'Vapiano' across the street. The salads are on another level though.
My favorite is the 'Cesare' which is a caesar salad. It is large, tasty and only EUR 4,75. I usually order the dressing seperately because they tend to put too much on it.
There is no other place in downtown Eindhoven where you can find this kind of salad for such a low price. (McDonalds doesn't count, not the same experience and no real plates or table service).
