We saw it rise, it took a while, it grew taller and taller and now it is here.
The Student Hotel.
I don't know what it is about the building. I find it so impressive. Like in a 20s movie, waiting for a man wearing a tall hat to step out, tap dancing. You know what I mean?
Okay, back to reality. We went there for lunch last weekend. I love hotel lunches. We didn't see the rooms actually, I hear the upper floors have great views of the city.
The Pool is the restaurant of this place. It has a great vibe! A very high ceiling and enormous windows. Of course there is an international crowd present and the menu is okay too. Not that many options, but I was eyeballing the bulgur salad immediately.
And it was gooood! Like really really good. You have to pick the spicy fish to go with it. A bit pricy but a delicious, low calorie, lunch. We also shared the beetroot sandwich, also damn tasty.
We've decided then and there that this was a place to visit more often. Welcome in town The Student Hotel :).
