Coffee @ Stadscafé de Vooruitgang
Located on 'de Markt', easy to find, located in one of the few old buildings still standing after the second world war. De Vooruitgang is legendary in Eindhoven, existing for more than 22 years now.
I used to go dancing there with my friends, a long long time ago.
In 2013 the café burned down, the fire destroyed the inside. After being closed for almost two years they opened again, surprising everybody with a stunning interior!
I personally never eat there. The reason to come by is definitely the interior and the 'special coffees'.
My favorite one is 'specuccino', which has a gingerbread taste and lots of whipped cream!
The best time for me to visit de Vooruitgang is on midweek evenings to catch up with friends or to enjoy coffee with my love.
