Hippe Bingo
Monday nights are always kind of boring. A lot of bars and restaurants are closed, so why not use the opportunity to play bingo?!
'Plein 4' is located on the Stationsplein (square near the train station). Clever as they are they came up with the idea to sell drinks, even on Monday nights. Hippe Bingo (hip bingo) was brought to life.
The game starts at 9PM. Every time you order a drink you'll get a token, which is tradable for a bingo card. It's hip because of the slightly loud 'hip' music and the 'hip' guy who spins the wheel.
Sure, bingo is for your grandma, but the prices make it worthwhile. You can win bottles of booze, high teas, high wines and even festival tickets!
If you don't speak Dutch participating might be challenging. You should ask if they can read the numbers in English or bring your Dutch friends to translate for you.
