Have you heard of the worldwide 'tiny house movement'? Simply put, it is a social movement where people are choosing to downsize the space they live in. And did you know that you can have your own tiny house experience right here in Eindhoven?
Located on Strijp S, PluginCity, is Waterland-huisje. An itsy bitsy tiny house in an urban jungle. Really nice! It can be yours for the night, or longer, if you want to know what it feels like to live small.
Besides the whole tiny house idea it is also a very cool bed & breakfast! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the environment is top notch. Step outside the door and you'll find all the good things Strijp S has to offer at your doorstep. And they provide breakfast. You can eat it on your cute little patio :).
Waterland-huisje is built by three engineers who pictured Claude Monets 'blue house' as a tiny residence. It is inspired by old architecture from 'Zaanstreek', a region near Amsterdam. They have plans to built a slightly bigger tiny house, probably at the NRE area. I'm really looking forward to that one too!
This is the place to sleep if you want to have an one of a kind 'Urban Jungle Tiny House' experience. One of the coolest spots to spent the night in Eindhoven!
