How to spend Valentine's Day in 040
Hello there! I'm back in business after an amazing trip to Thailand.
Just in time to present to you... THE way to spend your Valentine's Day in Eindhoven. Which is less than a week from today, (February 14th), you should be making plans by now. So for all you lovers breaking their heads on how to surprise their loved ones. THIS. IS. IT.
It happens to be that Valentine's day is on a Sunday this year. Yeah! No work, more fun!
And what do we all like to do on Sundays? Staying in bed and sleeping in, eat a little, or a lot, see a movie and chill.
With my Valentine's Day tips you can have a whole day of love and chillings, without having to leave town.
Arrange a Valentine's breakfast:
Perfect way to start the day! You can prepare your own breakfast... Get up early, ruined eggs, black toast. OR, you can order one. A special Valentine's breakfast with cute extras like rose petals and Valentine's candy. If you want they even arrange a Valentine's card for you.
Go for Sunday brunch:
Brunch on Sunday is always a good idea, so why make an exception on Valentine's Day. Vascobelo V-bar Eindhoven combines the two with their Valentine's special: 'symmetry brunch' for two, so romantic :).
Go for a walk in nature or visit a steam bath in the afternoon to burn of some calories, there is a lot of eating ahead!

Vestdijk 47 - Go chique with lobster and pigeon. Flawless interior, very central location.

Done eating? Go for an ant beer!
Yes, I said ANT, like the crawling black mini insects. Drinkers Pub has a special Valentine event where you can taste this beer with ants in it. The Dutch say 'mierzoet', (ant sweet), when we talk about Valentine stuff. Maybe that's why they came up with this? Cheers!
A romantic night in a hotel
And last, but definitely not least, a night of cuddling. Hotel Van der Valk Eindhoven has a Valentine's package. Spend a night in one of the tower hotel rooms. There are the rose petals again :).
