Gallery UnderConstruction
I enjoy watching art and often visit (small) galleries in different cities to see what is new and out there.
Recently Eindhoven got a new gallery called UnderConstruction, which is a pop-up gallery located on 'Kleine Berg'. I particularly like this one because of a few reasons. Time to tell you why!
First of all it is located in a beautiful building.
It was home to a hardware store named 'Van der Schoot', when passing the entrance the customers were welcomed by employees in dust coats. They helped out searching for that special screw in one of the thousand drawers. The inside of the building is spacious and you can look all the way up to the roof when standing on the bottom floor.
The second reason is the fact that the large variety of art is fresh, modern and reasonably priced.
And last, but certainly not least, they represent the work of one very special artist named 'Donald van Schilt', who happens to be my boyfriend. :)
